The school year consists of two semesters. Classes are taught in modified block scheduling. Some laboratory science and mathematics courses meet at additional times each week.
Courses receive .25-1 credit each semester, depending on the number of times the class meets weekly. Most academic classes earn one credit per semester. Minimum graduation requirements are as follows:
"Standing at the end of a known period, we are faced with the start of a new period of unknowns. We must be fearless, ready to shape the world that we want to live in. We cannot be afraid." - Natalie E., '17
