Ellen Singer

Ms. Singer is the Arts and Electives Department Chair, and teaches the Performing Arts class as well as co-directs the school musical. In addition, she serves as the RZJHS Artistic Director, overseeing the musical and the Performing Arts Showcase. 

Ms. Singer has over 30 years of experience as a music educator. She holds a B.S.in Music Education from the University of Illinois and a Master of Music from De Paul University. She is the President of the Northern Illinois Music Conference, and a member and respected adjudicator of the Illinois Music Educators Association. She also is the Advisor for RZCappella (school A Cappella group).
