Annual Giving 

Rochelle Zell Jewish High School’s Annual Campaign provides an opportunity for our community of current parents, former parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, and friends to make a valuable contribution. Annual Campaign funds provide much-needed tuition assistance, as well as direct support for the day-to-day operations of the school. The Annual Appeal is a critical component of our overall fundraising efforts. As in most private schools, tuition alone does not cover the total expense of educating students. While our operating cost per student has decreased steadily over the years, the ongoing generosity of our supporters helps bridge the gap between tuition and the operating budget and ensures the continued excellence of our school’s students, faculty, educational program, and state-of-the-art facility. The Annual Campaign is an ongoing source of revenue, allowing us to offer many educational opportunities and extracurricular activities that may otherwise be reduced or eliminated. Your gift assures that Rochelle Zell can continue to provide an excellent and affordable high school education.

 

Endowment 

This effort is to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the school and to maintain affordable tuition, enabling Rochelle Zell to remain competitive and deliver a superb college preparatory education. Please join our campaign. Together, we will ensure that our students, both current and future, can continue to enjoy an exceptional experience that balances Jewish life, academics, and personal achievement in a safe, respectful and nurturing environment. Together, we will cultivate a lifelong love of Israel, promote a positive and educated Jewish future, and provide a springboard for our students and our community’s future accomplishments.

 

Legacy/Planned Giving 

One way to ensure future financial security for Rochelle Zell is through legacy gifts and bequests to our endowment. A legacy gift (specified through estate planning) enables an individual to leave a bequest in the future without tapping or committing current assets. Through legacy giving, we can ensure that our school will be as strong for future generations as it is for our children today. Rochelle Zell will recognize all donors who participate in our endowment or who designate a charitable gift through a bequest or planned gift, regardless of the size of the donation. Our newly-established Legacy Society is an alternate means of supporting Rochelle Zell’s future. Planned giving enables members of our community to make strategic contributions through bequests, living trust, or gifts that provide benefits during a supporter’s life and the life of a loved one.

Stock Gifts

You can deduct the full market value of appreciated stock donated to Rochelle Zell and avoid capital gains taxes. Please contact the Development Office at 847-324-3720 for instructions on transferring appreciated current assets.

 

Matching Gifts

Employers frequently match their employees’ charitable gifts. This is a quick way to double (or more!) the value of your support. Check with your Human Resources office for forms or instructions.

 

Recurring Gifts

If you would like to make a gift on an ongoing basis, or make regularly scheduled pledge payments, you may do so conveniently through our Recurring Gift program. Tribute Gifts

You can support Rochelle Zell and commemorate life cycle events through the school’s Tribute Gift Program. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, births, graduations, memorials, or to acknowledge special achievements, tribute cards for gifts of $18 or more will be mailed by the Development Office.
