Technology

Our School

Rochelle Zell Jewish High School offers students, staff and faculty a range of technologies designed to support excellence in teaching and learning. Classroom technology includes SMART Boards, document cameras, and LCD projectors. There is a computer lab along with charging and print stations in the library for student use. We have also added a mobile computer lab and 3D print station. Wi-Fi is available throughout the school.

Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT)

To offer more personalized student-centered learning, Rochelle Zell adopted a BYOT policy beginning fall of 2015. Students are encouraged to bring their own device for educational use under the direction of a teacher or administrator. Laptops and MacBooks are preferred as they support software that may be required at all levels. Chromebooks, Android Tablets and Apple iPads are light and portable and may work in certain situations, but are limited in functionality.

Rochelle Zell students and families have access to numerous resources to continue and support learning off campus.

Google Apps for Education Google education accounts provide additional resources for students beyond Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
