Rabbi Allan Kensky currently teaches 12th grade Bible. He has a B.A. in political science from Queens College, M.A. from New York University and Ph.D. in Midrash from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Rabbi Kensky was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary. He has been a congregational rabbi since 1971 and served both as the associate dean and dean of the Rabbinical School at JTS. Rabbi Kensky serves as Rabbi Emeritus at Beth Hillel Congregation B’nai Emunah.
