Deerfield Patch: Tigers Rebound, Dominate Northtown Prep

The Final Score: Chicagoland Jewish High School 70, CICS Northtown Prep 51

Tigers’ Star Performer: Jake Newlander of Skokie scored 23 points, dished out nine assists, grabbed eight rebounds and stole the ball three times.

Other Notable Tiger Performances: Daniel Fishbaum of Highland Park added 13 points, took down four rebounds, had two assists and a pair of steals. Joshua Silverman of Skokie chipped in 10 points, seven assists, three rebounds and three steals.

Who’s Next: The Tigers travel to Vernon Hills at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Bottom Line: CJHS started fast and kept going clearing the bench in the fourth quarter. The Tigers are now 14-2 for the season and 6-1 in league play.”
