" The turning point in my life was coming to RZJHS because that was when I became a leader. I was empowered by my teachers and I learned how to be a good student. I developed a good work ethic, I took initiative, and I got to shape a lot of things that are still in existence at RZJHS today. I definitely wouldn’t trade my unique experience for anything."
With the intensification of the storm well into the evening, and its expected persistence into the morning hours, we have received many reports from our families of continuing difficult and unsafe conditions on the roads. Although most high schools on the North Shore are planning to open tomorrow as of this writing, none serves students who travel from such a broad geographic area as does our school, with many students driving considerable distances from homes in the city and elsewhere.
We have decided therefore to close school tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 2.
We appreciate your understanding and hope that our earlier decision has not caused any inconvenience.
