" I have been more involved in sports and clubs than ever before, which has made it the best year yet! RZ's understanding teachers and supportive community foster a collaborative environment which ensures each student's success. For next year, I hope to take on a greater leadership role in both the sports teams and clubs I am involved with. "
Mishloach Manot literally means delivery of portions. This is one of four central mitzvot on Purim, the practice of sending gifts of food to friends and relatives to bring happiness to our local community. Purim 5776 runs from Wednesday night, March 23rd through Thursday, March 24th.
Here at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School, our Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) sponsors an annual Mishloach Manot drive for the school community. YPI works hard throughout the year to fundraise for a philanthropic cause. This year’s proceeds go to The Chicago Foundation for Education, a local organization that provides resources to teachers and schools to enhance the quality of education.
By participating in the Rochelle Zell Jewish High School Mishloach Manot drive you not only ensure that every Rochelle Zell Jewish High School family receives a delicious bag of treats, but also contribute to an organization that does powerful work in our community.
There are a few ways to participate in this year’s Mishloach Manot drive. Click here to download the order form and view the options. Please return this form to the Front Office at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School by Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
